Shower Head Water Heater Review

When traveling or just working to conserve water or energy a person may consider one way to conserve energy with a new alternative, the shower head water heater. If you are not the nervous type then these electrical tankless water heaters that fit right in the shower head can save a substantial amount of water and energy because they are low flow and energy.
However, low flow means just that, you will not get a relatively healthy hot streaming spray of steaming hot water from a shower head water heater. You will get a low flow spray heated to a reasonably decent temperature. The shower head water heater diverts the flow of hot water from the house and heats cold water instead using 110 volts.

Of course, many of these tankless water heaters are perfectly safe but when considering a shower head water heater the wise shopper will opt for a well known brand, which is Underwriters Laboratory, certified to reduce the possibility of electrical problems.

Rather than a loved it, or hated it review the person interested in these cost saving tanks should instead understand what they are meant to do and what their limitations are.

If you are spoiled by hot water showers that singe the skin, then you should know the shower head hot water heaters would not heat the water quickly. In fact, you should probably brush your teeth or do your morning rituals while waiting for the water to heat up. If you do not then, well dissatisfaction with the product will be inevitable as it does take a few minutes of running at low flow to heat sufficiently.

Also not all of these tankless hot water heaters will deliver a steaming shower, they may instead provide nicely warmed water. This will not be a problem if the consumer is not too bent on emerging clean and cherry red from the water heat.

Water flow is a key to conserving water and the tankless water heater that is electrically powered and packed in a shower head will be a low flow shower. If you do not expect this, then you may not be happy with the product. On the other hand, using less of any resource means a better tomorrow, and a lower cost so it should not be a deal breaker for most people.

Most dissatisfaction with these tankless electric water heaters results from not properly understanding what it can do, settling for unrated bargain brands that may not be designed for safety, or expecting these efficient heaters to perform like the less efficient larger water heaters.

The bottom line here is that you should buy a quality brand that has been UL certified, you should expect a low flow, slower heating water heater with a lower than average water temperature and you will receive in return an efficient low cost water heating alternative.

In addition, these shower head water heaters will reduce the possibility of scalds and burns with children showering, a little extra safety is never a harmful thing.
